The whole point of this war in Ukraine now, and I suspect has been for quite some time is for Russians to be killed. The western powers are quite happy for this war to go on as long as they want, because it is killing and wounding Russians. The west doesn’t care about about Ukrainians being killed as they have now taken on the idea that ‘diversity is a strength’, and in this context, dead Ukrainians can easily be replaced with peoples from a foreign continents.
