A little bit of Polish history of national indoctrination.

This video is an example of indoctrination and also is a true story. Polish people were one of most indoctrinated nations and because of that they were most willing to die for their country.

My country started hardcore nationalist indoctrination, not Germany. Poland now that I found out about the Józef Piłsudski Intermarium and the Creel Committee, I am starting to think that he could have been helped in the arts of indoctrination by Americans like people from the Creel Committee. Everyone thinks about the Hitler Youth and Nazis when they think about indoctrination of society. It was Poland not Germany that invented it. Hitler admired Pilsudski. Imagine what Piłsudski achieved by resurrecting Poland. Poland which had been removed from the map of the world for over 123 years, which culture and langue was supprsed for 123 years. Don’t get me wrong, it was partially thanks so to Polish history and to our national pride and our culture. But his achievement was being able to convince people to die for our language and our flag. History of the creation of my nation shows how strong we were indoctrinated and how we became nationalistic. Poland was a miracle after WW1. We start our country with 3 universities. We spend close to 30-40% of the GDP on education. In 1939 we had around 15 universities. It was a miracle for the country but of course people got smarter but also better indoctrinated. Very quickly Poland started the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego) on which the Hitler Youth was based. I know Germany had a Scouting association before but not like ours. We had a great policy that every man had to take part in the military. As part of the military service he travelled by train around the country visiting all big Polish cities Like Warsaw, Poznań, Katowice, Lwów etc.. And he went there to visit theatres, museums, castles, learn history and about the whole culture. So when war starts he will know what he is fighting for. So that poor farmer living in a some small poor rural area will not ask himself why he is supposed to go fighting for something he doesn’t know or care about. Because when war comes he will know, he will not fight only for his little poor peace of land but all those beautiful cities, museums and theatres he visited and the whole history and culture he learned while he was in the military.

Our Polish Generals early into the process of the creation of our Country understood that. They were asking the General staff not for guns or weapons, they asked them for pencils and carts of paper and backpacks. They told them soldiers need to be taught language, reading and overall history. They said they will learn how to use weapons on the front but first they need to be taught what they are fighting for. So that they will have the will to fight.

Because of that achievement Hitler admired Józef Piłsudski. He wanted Germans to love their country the same way as the Polish did love Poland. Difference was that our country’s nationalism was not based on genetics and race or religion but culture, at least as seen by Piłsudski and his group. We were a multicultural country and society throughout history so it was not such a big problem for us. Of Course there were nationalists who believed in Polish superiority but it was not so with Piłsudski’s group and their ideas.  So Basically we invented extreme national indoctrination with the probable help of the US. Only difference was that our nationalism was mostly not based on race or religion but culture, history, language, art etc…

Here is an example of why Hitler admired Józef Piłsudski: Polish History November 21, 2022 Facebook.

On November 21 in 1918, nearly 14-year-old Jurek Bitschan – the Lwów Eagle – was killed in defense of Polish Lwow. After the Polish defense of Lwow, which began in November 1918, during the Polish-Ukrainian war, he wanted to take part in the fighting. Despite his stepfather’s disagreement, he left home and went to the fighting area. He left this message on his desk:

“Dear Daddy! I’m going to report to the army today. I want to show that I can find enough strength to serve and endure. It is my duty to go when I have enough strength, because there is still a shortage of people to liberate Lwow. I have already learned as much as it takes. Jerzy”

Jurek joined the unit of Lieutenant Petri, they did not want to accept him there, as he did not look 14 years old, but after strenuous pleas, it was agreed that he should stay. He was assigned the caretaker of the standard-bearer, Aleksander Śliwiński. Jurek Bitschan, although he was ordered to stand guard, went to attack in the front row. Bitschan was hit in the legs twice by an exploding Ukrainian ecrasite missile but still tried to shoot. The wounded Bitschan was transferred by Sec. Plutecki to the chapel and provided with care. He also suffered head injuries. In view of the increasing power of fire from the barracks, a small group of the Polish troops was forced to retreat towards Pohulanka and leave the killed and wounded, including Bitschan. Jerzy Bitschan died on November 21, 1918. The next day, November 22, after the Poles had liberated Lwow, the boy’s bloodied body – lying in the snow and covered with chrysanthemums – was found and recognized by his stepfather. He ran away from home to fight in defense of Poland. Glory to the Heroes!

Our hardcore indoctrination in my opinion was later used by Hitler against Polish culture. That’s why we had Ukrainians committing atrocities on Polish people. Today’s Polish and Ukrainian Nationalism is leftovers of Polish National indoctrination. Probably done with the help from the US. Funny how all those Ukrainian Nazis and extreme Ukrainians Nationalists are mainly in areas that were occupied by Poland.

By the way I am not a naive Pole. After the creation of the state after WW1 it miracle development and relative prosperity was possible thanks to the strong investment in education which of course helped industries and the overall country to become strong. But they did not do it only for education’s sake or to straighten the country. Part of the reason was also that good education system gave the ability to  indoctrinate population and thus to stay in power.

I remember that Poland during the junta formed by Pilsudksi had Communist and fascist political formations but the ruling junta maintained concentration camps to ‘re-educate’ people with dangerous foreign ideas. Poland also willingly participated in the dismemberment of Czechoslovakia. Which I would hope Czechs and Slovaks remember.
Hitler admired Pilsudski but he also used the way Poland stabbed the Kaiser in the back when his Generals wanted to arm Ukraine in WW2. He pointed out how the Germans gavr Poland independence and armed them to fight Britain and France and Poland immediately changed sides.
