I will go out on a limb declaring that the “Mecca agreement” is nonsense — no matter how the ‘agreement’ is alleged to evolve. This entire scenario has the stench of US/Israeli influence behind it, because that’s the way the former United States rolls, attempting to unwind the conflict with typical duplicitous “guarantees” to the Gulf Fiefdoms. For that, look no further than the Saudi/UAE billions delivered to Kushner to arrange just such an outcome, in aid of the Kushner Accords.
This ‘Mecca nonsense’ is roughly analogous to the Vietnamization plan attempted during the US tragedy in Vietnam, after Richard Nixon inherited the US-initiated war. That’s where the former United States supposedly handed the conflict back to the people of the region most impacted by the disaster that the US created.
Recall too that (aka) Turkiye, Pakistan, and al Saud clan are double-dealers beholden to the west for political and economic reasons, Where Pakistan has jailed its own democratically elected leader Imran Khan, and is run by a US-approved military junta. and of course the Gulf Fiefdoms are concerned about their survival too, with USd dollars aplenty to grease subversive palms being no object. However, there are two major issues for Iran: Iran has the upper hand in this conflict. Iran will be seriously remiss by giving that advantage away. Based on history, Iran’s leadership must be aware of that, and that making a deal with the devil always results in disaster – specifically for Iran and its people.
Second, while we have no factual understanding regarding the motive or consequence of the meeting between Pakistan, Turkey, al Saud clan, and Iran in Tehran on Monday October 26th the question is, ultimately: Why should Iran cooperate with — or join — any alliance that the US and Israel have funded and armed to attack and destroy Iran? [1]
For resistance to US/Israeli aggression in the region, it makes good sense that there is an equation to take the al Saud Mafia family out of the game. To do so will take out more than just a cog in the US/Israel financial usury and corruption game. Removing the Saudi namesake al Saud family from “Saudi Arabia” and thus from the western hegemonic equation, will likely remove a most important component to the western financial regime’s continued corrupt operation.
Meanwhile it has yet to be seen how this US-backed “Mecca Agreement” version of ‘Vietnamization’ will evolve. But with the US and Israel behind it, only disaster can follow. Obviously Iran and Ansarullah will not be duped into giving up their influence in the Persian Gulf (and elsewhere) for hollow and meaningless US / Israeli lying “guarantees” by way of the west’s duplicitous and dangerous proxies: Pakistan, Turkey, UAE, al Saud clan, and Egypt.
So I pray that the foregoing will be Iran’s goal; just as it is that of Yemen’s Ansarullah right now. To maintain its newly acquired influence in the region, and not give it away to the lying promises of a dying Empire.
[1] In light of persistent and believable rumors that the US-Israeli Axis will once again target Iran with their murderous genocidal arms, it’s interesting to contemplate that the Israeli puppet in the White House could not initiate that aggression on that day, with Turkish, Pakistani and al Saud proxy representatives physically present in Tehran.
