Mario attempts to play devil’s advocate for Israel, but Max demolishes all his arguments by insisting that Zionism, the idea that there should be a “Jewish state” in Palestine is the core of the whole conflict in West Asia. No “two-state solution” that recognizes the legitimacy of a Jewish state is possible. The conflict can only be resolved by a repudiation of Zionism in favor of a democratic Palestinian state with something like a US constitution prohibiting discrimination as in the First Amendment.

Israel has continued to kill people in Lebanon today. Will Iran now attack Israel for violating the MoU that they never signed? Stay tuned.
