Trump Folds His Hand

Trump has been swimming in hubristic propaganda about American power all his life, and his political career has been financed by Zionist money. But the Zionists have pushed him into a losing war, and the looming economic disaster has opened his eyes to reality. Suddenly, he is beginning to sound like a sane and sensible person, the sort of person who once said he wanted to end the “forever wars” and rebuild America’s economy instead. That is why I and many other people on the left actually voted for Trump. We were sick of decades of Democrat warmongering, privatizing neoliberalism. We also found the Russiagate hoax being pushed by Hillary Clinton and the Democrat leadership to be just as reprehensible as the Joseph McCarthy attack on Democrats in the 50’s. It was exactly what real Democrats once called McCarthyism. These neoliberal Democrats were so awful that they made Trump look good by comparison. By the way, I consider Glenn Greenwald a genuine leftist, like me. He despises what the Democratic party has become from a principled leftist standpoint

Using the Poker analogy, Trump looked at his cards, realized he had a bad hand and was losing, and he did what a good poker player would do as opposed to a compulsive gambler and folded his hand. That is a better way of describing what he did than saying he “surrendered” or “caved”. Trump cut his losses on this hand by folding, but a fresh hand will be dealt, and he might get better cards next time. He no longer trusts the Zionists, and has a much more realistic view of American power. He sees that popular opinion is against war with Iran or war with Russia. Can Trump defy the Zionist billionaires who own both political parties? Will he do the right thing, make peace with both Iran and Russia, and join the BRICS? It seems unlikely, but who knows? God works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform.
