Britain wasn’t “weak” at the end of the Roman Empire Alexander, it was non existent.
Rome had colonized Britain for over 400 years. Alexander is probably part Italian and doesn’t even know it.
When you hear some jealous brit talk about “their” American Colonies, bring up the FACT of britain being a Roman Colony for over 400 years and watch the stupid look on their face as they have no idea of their Real History.
Mr Mercouris did not mention “Britain” in connection with the end of the Roman Empire, but “Europe”.
Admittedly Europe as it is now known did not exist then either.
