Could you guys look into why Larry Wilkerson is darkly intoning that Trump is planning some sort of coup? Wilkerson’s source on Nima’s podcast seems to be “friends” plus public statements by an airforce general who appeared, laughably, on the Rachel Maddow show. I have tend to consider his views seriously in the past, but as we say in the US, he appears to have jumped the shark with these inane sounding allegations. Almost sounds like rebellion bubbling up from the deep state. Nobody noticing or talking about it much in my bubble.
One must view Trump in the light of his America First agenda. In the case of this dumb deal, Trump knows that he can’t contribute to the rebuilding of Ukraine without having something like this he can point at to say that rebuilding is not being paid for by Americans. Im actually viewing Trump as far more visionary and thoughtful than I ever credited him before now. Might be worth having Scott on to poke at him if you disagree. Amazing to… Read more »
Whoever is behind this, it is indisputable that most of the minerals are under Russian territory and by the time this SMO is over, there will probably be none left in Ukraine. It is all a huge red herring.
I think that BlackRock is also a red herring. They can huff and puff all they like, but there will be nothing for them as Russia takes over a large part of the country and maybe Poland will take some too.
