How could the Canadian parliament , the Canadian PM and the German ambassador to Canada have possibly known that a soldier fighting against Russia in WW2 was on the side of the Axis powers of Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Imperial Japan? Admittedly, as Russia was the leading military power among the Allies and the power that exterminated more Nazis than any other, how could they have known that a soldier fighting against Russians was actually fighting against the Allies? It is being reported on Redacted that this was the second time the Canadian Parliament honored this Nazi, that the first time was in 2007. If true, this makes it impossible to believe he was not vetted and they did not know exactly who he was.
