Coming one week before the Moscow Victory Day Parade, the drone strike was a Zelensky terrorist act intended to frighten the Russian people to stay away from the parade route. The logic is that ‘if we can strike the Kremlin, then you will not be safe anywhere on the parade route.’ Zelensky is always seething over Russian military ceremonies and the Victory Day Parade is the military ceremonial event of the year. It is likewise intended to boost the flagging morale of the war-weary Ukraine armed forces. Which have been decimated over the past year.
My working theory of why the Russians are being so explicit about Zelensky and the CIA attempting to assasinate Putin is that they feel the hopeless incompetent Zelensky has outlived his usefulness in helping Russia to win the war. Russia is about to enter a new phase of the war and now wishes to decapitate the CIA’s boy Friday in Kiev. Russia already blew up the NATO bunker full of VIP’s, Zelensky’s turn now.
