Where is Mongolia in all this? I understand that Mongolia has good relations with both China and Russia and it borders both countries as well. North Korea is to the east and Kazakhstan to the west of China, and both get along well with China. The Kazakhs while inhabiting mainly Kazakhstan also overlap the adjacent parts of Xinjiang in China. Kazakhstan will not have forgotten the attempted coup in January of this year, which was reportedly organised by the CIA to prevent Kazakhstan from becoming reunited with Russia.
