Actually, that’s been happening for some time, long before the “pandemic” started. Huge corporations have been buying up entire neighborhoods and small towns to have total control over rent, by eliminating competition. This has been behind making rents unaffordable to most working class people and caused a pandemic of homelessness in the US.
