If Tesla said he could do it, it would have been done, at least possible. But as you point out, he was 79 years of age. Advanced age is not conducive to achieving intended goals, as you will no doubt learn in time when your senses and energy begin to fail you. As for the 2 years of formal education, I say “So what?” I have seen many abject failures with professorships that are not worth feeding.
