There is some concern that the balloon may be harboring enough explosive power to cause an E.M.P..
And then there is the other concern that the balloon was packed full of anthrax powder and if shot down would poison the entire US population.
Oh my God, the balloon farce! IF it was a spy balloon, it has now traversed the whole USA, transmitted the data back to China and then the DOD shot it down over the sea, so they won’t be able to retrieve it. It’s had fighter jets shadowing it. Radar stations are on alert. There was talk it might be an EMP…or a balloon loaded with another virus…or poison gas. Such hysteria.
