150 people laid off at ESPN as identity politics rebranding causes turmoil at network

ESPN President John Skipper announced that the network will lay off 150 people.

As the NFL suffers from a near terminal case of the virus known as liberalism, with empty stadiums and falling ratings, sports broadcaster turned identity politics bullhorn, ESPN, is also succumbing to a violent strain of the liberalism virus.

ESPN President John Skipper announced that the network will lay off 150 people in latest round of cuts at ESPN. This brings the total number of laid-off employees to approximately 250 people for 2017.

The employees laid off worked in “studio production, digital content, and technology”.

Skipper said that ESPN plans to invest in a way to “best position us to serve the modern sports fan and support the success of our business”.

Here is an idea Mr. Skipper...broadcast sport and stop propagandizing your viewers with nutty liberal dogma.

Speaking of the employees hit in this round of layoffs, John Skipper said…

We appreciate their contributions, and will assist them as much as possible in this difficult moment with severance, a 2017 bonus, the continuation of health benefits and outplacement services

When the board of directors finally wakes up, and makes Skipper walk the plank things will change. It’s funny how fast a Liberal can turn Conservative when his/her job in on the line.
