If I were Trump, I would invite Zelenski for a meeting in Washington DC and then send a drone to make sure he has plane trouble over the Atlantic Ocean….. I imagine his replacement would be much more reasonable after that…..
Honestly, I feel astounded at the revelations here, that consecutive administrations in any country would not be aware of all details of all diplomatic steps undertaken by their predecessors!! That seems incredibly irresponsible, and even dangerous.
You are correct that few grasp history or reality in the WH and NSC. Know Kellogg from Iraq and before … insider. Know of Waltz, Hegseth, Jenkins, and many others in parallel experience. Waltz has filled the NSC with Hill staff neocons and basically anti Trump people. Do recall Kellogg was a problem in trumps first term. Radcliff and Gabbard have been disappointing so far. BTW. The lack of knowledge of historical facts in the WH and NSC is nothing new. Clinton, Bush Cheney, Obama and Trump One then Biden were all ignorant of history. Was present. And intelligence was cooked since Clinton so was all mushroom operations: kept in the dark and fed shit!

However, you often promote the false narrative that Trump is ignorant or uninformed about aspects of the Ukraine war that are common knowledge to anyone paying attention to it. Why the need to denigrate Trump, entirely without evidence? Trump’s flaws are visible to everyone. You don’t need to make up things that you have no way of knowing. Both you and Alistair Crooke seem to need to insult Trump as a means of disassociating yourselves from Trump whenever you agree with what he is doing. It says more about you than it does about Trump.
