I do not think Russia will agree to talks with Ukraine as long as Zelenski is in office. I think they will demand direct talks with the US in order to shame the US into admitting that they are the real principal in this war.
IMO it would be in Russia’s interest to intensify the war, and to turn up the pressure on the west.
Is Blinken intending to place Sullivan in the driver’s seat with his recent praise? Is that a way to identify the person who lost Ukraine?
