Prof Peter Daszak is part of the WHO Coronavirus Investigation team currently visiting the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China.

According to the NIH’s own funding documents, Prof Peter Daszak was the ECOHEALTH ALLIANCE, INC. Project Leader for Collaborating with the Wuhan Institute Of Virology (WIV) into Bat Corona-Viruses Gain-Of-Function (GoF) research. https://projectreporter.nih.gov/project_info_description.cfm?aid=9819304&icde=49645421GoF
GoF research is virologist jargon for making genetic modification to non-human hosted viruses in the lab to make them more virulent and transmissible as a way of gauging how many mutations it takes to make a virus in another species able to jump to and infect humans. Some scientists argue that this GoF research is necessary to gauge how close the world is to the next pandemic. The project began in 1-JUN-2014 and funding began in 24-JUL-2019. All great in theory provided there are no accidental leaks from labs.
The reason this GoF research was being funded by the US in China is that a moratorium was placed on this kind of risky research in both the US and Europe.
Several questions arise:-
1) How is Prof Peter Daszak involved in the investigation when he has …
a) a clear conflict of interest with is prior bat coronavirus GoF research collaboration with the WIV?
b) publically condemed suggestions of the possiblility of a leaked bat coronavirus from a lab as conspiracy theory, so is clearly not able to assess the possibility impartially.
2) Upon whoms recommendation was Prof Peter Daszak included in the WHO virus investigation?
3) Given his past collaboration with the WIV Lab in China, was his inclusion at China’s request?

EU Brexit chief Michel Barnier also signed off on French collaboration with the Wuhan Institute of Virology in 2004 – despite French intelligence warnings that China’s poor bio-security reputation could lead to a catastrophic leak. France subsequently sent many scientists to the Wuhan lab in China to work on virus gain-of-function research.

I have said right from the start that this virus is nothing to do with wet markets in Wuhan but a deliberately engineered and released virus from a laboratory. I will not change my views on this, and it seems the more information that gets out about it, the more justified I feel in my original supposition. Whether we will ever find out at whose behest it was transmitted to the human population remains to be seen, but the response from big pharma and the insistence that we take their ‘treatment’ for it, points a cautious finger in that direction.… Read more »

In my opinion, Prof Peter Daszak is really there to say how incredibly secure the WIV Lab is and how improbably it is for a bat coronavirus to have escaped/leaked from the lab. In other words his findings are to cover his own tracks as he and his team were collaborating on just such a bat coronavirus with the WIV Lab.
Of my understanding is correct, Fauci continued to work with and fund the Wuhan lab despite the moratorium on such work.
what do they want to find if they haven’t isolated the virus?
They want to find something which is as natural as possible, to make as many people as possible die. They are constantly saying the world is overpopulated and those elites in power, have enough money to throw at some kind of project to do this. The very wealthy don’t like anybody except their own kind, the rest of us are just dirt beneath their feet.
Have we yet to experience the natural virus after being primed with the genetically engineered “spike protein” delivered in the vaccines and made from code received from China 10 Jan 2020.
Are they so naive they really think the CCP is going to allow this team to conduct any real investigation into this outbreak? Every person spoken to will have been well and truly briefed not to disclose any potentially incriminating information (at pain of severe punishment) and all sites will have been well and truly scrubbed clean. Both locations should be investigated in my opinion. I am not sure to what degree post forensics of cadavers can actually detect SARS CoV2 or even if it is possible for RNA codons sequencing to be made from this tissue. If it was it would be useful for contact tracing and viral tree purposes to help narrow down patient zero. Perhaps some trace may be left in the bone marrow?
