24 June 2025, by Eric Zuesse. (All of my recent articles can be seen here.)
Lt. Col. Daniel Davis, who is unexcelled as a direct-speaking explainer of military strategies — succinctly but without any compromises with whatever relevant truths have already been solidly documented — tells why Trump is trying to end America’s direct involvement in the war between Israel and Iran (which Israel had started with Trump’s approval when Israel bombed Iran on 13 June 2025, and which Trump then entered directly by bombing Iran on June 22nd):

My own addition to his brief but pithy militaary commentary is that Israel is NOT stopping its bombing of Iran; so, even WITH this temporary ceasefire between America and Iran, a strong likelihood still exists that Trump will violate his side of that agreement.
In order for this ‘ceasefire’ to be trusted at all, a precondition would have been an announcement by Netanyahu that Israel is part of the ‘agreement’. The fact that Israel is NOT, is yet further indication that Israel controls America; America is Israel’s slave. Will Israel allow Trump to comply with his ‘agreement’ with Iran?

Investigative historian Eric Zuesse’s latest book, AMERICA’S EMPIRE OF EVIL: Hitler’s Posthumous Victory, and Why the Social Sciences Need to Change, is about how America took over the world after World War II in order to enslave it to U.S.-and-allied billionaires. Their cartels extract the world’s wealth by control of not only their ‘news’ media but the social ‘sciences’ — duping the public.
