Wasn’t Nord Stream a German-Russian joint venture with no US involvement whatsoever?
Didn’t Trump oppose Nord Stream simply because the US had no control over it?
Wasn’t Trump also threatened by the prospect of Nord Stream gas sales bypassing the US dollar?
And why should the US be rewarded after having destroyed the Nord Stream pipeline? Frankly it should be fined for the same and told to buzz off otherwise.
Some people in the RT comments have condemned this as theft on the USA’s part. I think Kissinger’s words apply here.
