If Professor Postol is right about Oreshnik, Mr Putin must have been exaggerating grossly when he claimed that a salvo of Oreshniks would be as powerful as a tactical nuclear weapon. We know that Mr Putin is fanatically truthful, and also that he has the benefit of briefing by all Russia’s technical experts – which briefings he no doubt understands far better than Western politicans understand what their experts tell them.
So is Mr Putin lying? Is he misinformed? Is Professor Postol lying? Or is he misinformed?

It sounds as if Mr Zelensky is labouring under the delusion that the West wants him to win.
