Members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation have been meeting in the Kazakh capital of Astana as they welcome India and Pakistan to the group.
Earlier in the meetings, President Putin’s team was scheduled to meet with their Chinese counterparts led by President Xi Jinping.
There was only one problem, President Xi’s team were running late leaving a lone Chinese President to face all of Putin’s team.
This did not of course bother either leader as both have developed a deeply close and important relationship.
It did however make for a rather amusing image which lead Putin to compliment the Chinese President as “The Lone Warrior”.
Soon enough the rest of the Chinese delegation arrived and both sides got down to business.

All presidents must feel “lonely” sometimes. But only Putin can deliver that sense hummer with the accuracy of a cobra at close quarter.
To have a good sense of humour one must be able to laugh at oneself and be intelligent. These attributes are sadly lacking in all too many Western Leaders.
I thought it would be Trump, in the wee hours of the morning, sending Tweet missiles toward his many enemies.
Gotta admire Putin, calmly sitting back, analysing everything going on in the world whilst getting the largest eastern powers to be friendly and have fairtrade with one another, also the Brics Bank, cutting the jews out of it,,, the wonderful west is being left behind,,
The Chinese will understand Putin’s comment for the great compliment that it is. When one warrior recognizes another it’s a high honor indeed.
