Thinking more geo. This up down negotiations. What does this say, impact and show to the rest of the world or rather countries re: deals with the US and Europe?
The first rule of the CIA is plausible deniability, and the same rule applies to the deep state. Europe exists for plausible deniability. It’s not America that wants war—no—even when Secretary Pete Hegseth demands increased military spending and Europeans are “ready” to send troops to Ukraine. It’s all those pesky Europeans, right? Let’s also forget that Europe bent over when America slapped tariffs on them. After all, America couldn’t possibly put tariffs on Europe and then say they’d remove them only if Europe accepted peace with Russia… right? Regarding what Putin has said: when I hear people talking about American… Read more »
Of course, Trump does not have the ability to lay down the ultimatum to end this conflict on largely Russian terms (Istanbul Plus). He does want to do this, but he lacks the domestic mandate. Although his admin has largely revealed the Deep State operatives (from Obama, to Brennan, Comey, etc.), that not only gets no press release in Mainstream Media, but they cannot pursue these Deep State players in a legal system stacked against that. The Deep State in cooperation with the RHINOs, and the Democratic Left can and do work against him. Apparently red lines are drawn, and… Read more »
I would argue that any perceived “awkwardness” from these “peace” proceedings is due entirely to the pretense that the US is a “mediator” in this war. The US & EU are merely coordinating this circus in order to wear out Russia. Besides, the entire western side is avoiding any mention of NATO expansion, and of not placing any nuclear missiles in Ukraïne in any discussion, because they don’t intend to dissolve NATO. Ever. Neither the US nor any other member have any such intention. I might add that, as far as I can tell, Russia will eventually deal with NATO… Read more »
Russia should make this offer:
Ukraine’s unconditional surrender by end of day, Return of all russian assets and Russia provides guarantee to not hang Zelensky for war crimes.
or Russia will take everything on the battlefield, Zelensky will face trial for war crimes, and nato will be required to pay reparations to Russia
Does Russia need to make an offer? Isn’t that the understood outcome of this mess if Ukraine/Globalist Deep State does not negotiate a settlement? Russia will eventually end up there. But with financial backing, there is no such thing as “surrender” anymore. There will be those that are willing to go forward, covertly fighting the Russians through terror and other means of guerrilla warfare for years afterward. It will be quite messy for Russia and a drain on her psyche. The whole thing needs an adult in the room. Hoped it would be Trump. But, apparently, he just does not… Read more »
Alastair Crooke on Judge Nap Monday said the Russians would like to keep the channels to the US open and don’t care if the US/EU/NATO take years talking crap because Russia can just plug away on the battlefield while the West wastes all its time talking crap negotiating with themselves. Russia is quite happy with that.
