Trump is playing everybody.
As the Alexanders originally advised: this stinking Ukrainian mess is Biden’s war. Trump must wash his hands of this after giving peace a chance. Zelensky is incorrigible. He is misbehaving because he is certain of European backing.
The bluff on Putin is that he must do what he fears; advance the war westward to all of Ukraine. Putin will then have to deal directly with the wackadoo national socialists of Ukraine.
If Putin moves to the Polish border and deals with the NS folks, then he has decided to go for the Soviet Re-Union.
