The finance capitalism of the West will cling to power, so even your limited optimism for the West is unjustified. It is only in Eurasia/East Asia that we see standards of living rising due to increasing restraints being placed upon finance capitalism as economies become mixed, and with governments controlling banking rather than private groups.
