Your “advice” for Israel makes one question whether you actually have a grasp on the history of this conflict. “Some kind of stop”? “Israelis need to rethink their policies towards their neighbors”? This kind of simplistic blather misses the whole point of Israel’s policies. From 1948, Israel has had one policy for the Palestinians: genocide. The last 78 years have been ones of slow starvation; denial of human rights, food, water, medical care; checkpoints; land theft; torture and imprisonment. Deir Yassin, the bombing of the King David Hotel, the assassination of Count Bernadotte and James Forrestal, the Meyer Lansky-Ben Gurion link to the Kennedy Assassination, Israel’s attack on the USS Liberty in June of 1967, the NUMEC nuclear materials theft, the PROMIS affair, Sabra and Shatila, the Pollard Spy Case, 9-11, and the laundry list of crimes committed against Iran and other regional countries proves this. I seem to remember that the last time there was an election in Gaza, Hamas topped the poll. And most of us, seeing the supposed terrorists hang-gliding into Israel on that fatal date, knew immediately that the Israelis were behind the ‘attack’. That this was a psy-op from the start was evident to most thinking people.
It doesn’t matter how many well-meaning people join in the chorus with the UN and other agencies, Israel couldn’t give a brass hoot about what they think.
