If American pilots are flying Ukrainian F-16s, they presumably have to be careful where they fly. In the Korean War the Soviet pilots were strictly forbidden to overfly South Korea in case they got shot down and identified. For a USAF pilot to be captured after flying an F-16 in Ukraine… would be bad.
