NATO is obviously trying to provoke Russia into a massive retaliation, by using Ukrainian Cannon fodder and Mercenary scum, to attack the Belgorod region in Russia.
If the Russians were reckless enough to take the bait, and invade Ukraine proper, it would be used as a pretext to untie any dissenting NATO members, for a full scale NATO occupation of western Ukraine, on the pretence of preventing a Impeding Russian invasion of Europe.
