I completely agree, and that’s what I have been saying all along. The issue is that Ukraine is too large for Russia to take over entirely. Russia could seek help from Belarus, but that would pose significant geopolitical challenges. Moreover, if I remember correctly, Belarus, under Lukashenko, was opposed to the idea of dividing Ukraine. “In 2014, Poland’s former foreign minister Radosław Sikorski alleged that in 2008, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to then-Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk a plan to divide Ukraine between Poland and Russia.” This makes sense because, as I mentioned earlier, Ukraine is simply too big… Read more »
Genuine question; what is Ukranian Nationalism? Because if it were ever about anything more than providing a healthy flow of anti Russian cannon fodder to fight a war FOR the west against Russia, the situation would’ve met a far more beneficial (to Ukraine and its people) end than what is being carried out now. There is no Ukranian Nationalism without a western backer using it purely as a tool to attack and ransack Russia. Boris sealed the deal and guaranteed Odessa will have to fall under Russian control. Unless a pro-russian government takes power, how else could they keep it… Read more »
I will quote something I have quoted before from Prof. Cohen: “This was the first sentence I wrote that brought the wrath of these people down on me. There is no “the Ukraine” in the sense of a civilization or a country. There was a post-Soviet Ukrainian state, and it was a mess. Even Ukrainians themselves agreed it was corrupt and divided. But historically—and this is not Putin’s fault—if you want to blame somebody, blame God (if you’re of such a frame of mind) or history (to be more agnostic about it). History created, on the territories where the post-Soviet… Read more »
Thanks. You are obviously much too smart to blame God. Look at all the reasons you just explained.
I do not blame God. “My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.” — Albert Einstein “I do not believe in the God of theology who rewards good and punishes evil. My God created laws that take care of that. His universe is not ruled by wishful thinking, but by immutable laws.” — Albert Einstein “The most beautiful and profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is at the root of all true… Read more »
Fair enough. Bit wishy washy though ain’t it? I don’t know bout no fancy Einstein mathmelogics, but in my experience there is no higher truth than “do unto others what you would have done unto you”. Hate to end your pursuit so soon! You’re welcome. 😀
Einstein, like me, ascribed to the logic of Schopenhauer, who logically explained life as a will to live. But if God exists, He would not want us to waste time pondering His existence. Instead, He would want us to pursue knowledge and truth, because knowledge and truth will set us free. “Seeing that our birth involves the blending of these two things – the body, on the one hand, that we share with animals, and, on the other hand, rationality and intelligence, that we share with the gods – most of us incline to this former relationship, wretched and dead… Read more »
I can’t pull quotes out my arse like you can, it’s not flattery, you’re well educated. I don’t know why I’m here. Lol. Take care dude, Logic bless.
That’s the point—I am no one, and I am not highly educated. I have only a college-level education, so it’s fairly basic. Don’t say, “I don’t know why I’m here.” You are here because you are curious and seek truth, and it’s through that part of people that I see God. I don’t know everything, and through discussion, I can either change my mind or strengthen my position. As Nietzsche said: “Conviction is the belief that in some point of knowledge one possesses absolute truth. Such a belief presumes, then, that absolute truths exist; likewise, that the perfect methods for… Read more »
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Blame God or Evolution. Take your pick.
Evolution 1.0: Random, uncontrolled breeding.
What do we expect? Try breeding race horses or German Shepherds like that. Want a better world? Breed better people.
And fewer people. The world is indeed overpopulated. It’s just Bill Gates and Anthony Fauci etc., with their insane population control schemes of causing disease and death with deadly pseudo vaxxes who have given common sense a bad name.
Much better solution. For the time being, apply a “Two and your thru” policy. After 2 children, a woman is fixed. Make available a one time monetary reward when done.
You sound schizophrenic. You complain about, “It’s just Bill Gates and Anthony Fauci, etc., with their insane population control schemes,” but at the same time, you complain about “random, uncontrolled breeding.” If you’re against random, uncontrolled breeding, doesn’t that imply you support controlled breeding? And isn’t controlled breeding a form of population control? Just look at dogs—you don’t seem to understand that controlled breeding can lead to genetic diseases. Even if it didn’t cause genetic issues, you still complain about “Evolution 1.0: Random, uncontrolled breeding.” Do you realize you sound like Bill Gates and Anthony Fauci? Are you on their… Read more »
Complain? No, just observe. From my perspective, humans are just another evolutionary experiment, like the dinosaurs and dodo birds. No guarantee of success. I just play my small role in that process.
As for Gates and Fauci, just because they recognizes a problem doesn’t mean they have a good solution. Here’s an example. Crime is a problem. One solution. Kill everbody. No more people. No more crime.
Can you think of alternative solutions?
Freedom comes at the price of crime. You can’t have freedom without some level of crime and unpredictability. If you want to be completely free from crime, go to prison—because only by losing all your freedom, you can eliminate crime entirely. So, what will you choose: freedom or safety? You can minimize the effects of crime, but that only addresses the symptoms, not the root cause. To truly solve the problem, you need to address the underlying factors behind most crimes, such as economic conditions. Controlling the population is not the solution; improving living conditions and education is.
Re: “To truly solve the problem, you need to address the underlying factors behind most crimes”
That’s exactly right. What your problem is you are trying to apply the classic “do gooder” solution which has failed for the last 10,000 years.
Okay, why not just give everybody $500 per week. Then everything should get better and better, right? Very simple solution.
How about we raise the standard of living so that parents don’t have to work two jobs just to afford raising a child? This way, parents would have more time to care for and raise their children. The best solution would be to return to the days when a single income was enough to support a family, allowing mothers to focus entirely on raising kids. Improving the standard of living would enable parents to spend more time with their children, which would help solve many societal problems. It’s not just about giving people money for its own sake—the real issue… Read more »
Re: “you don’t seem to understand that controlled breeding can lead to genetic diseases.”
And uncontrolled, like letting people with known heriditary diseases pass them on, doesn’t? You don’t seem to appreciate “logical consistency”.
Look around you. Like the world as it is? Then keep doing the same thing over and over again. You can push “Do gooder” programs till Hades freezes over. The psychopaths, being agressive, will eventually rise to the top.
Working part-time, I earn more than $13,000 per month. I kept hearing how much money people could make online, so I decided to look into it. UW AS warfare is not about helping Ukraine at all. Ukraine does not matter nor do Ukrainian deaths matter. This is about regime change in Russia. Your list of who would have been involved in April 2024 meeting is not correct. You assume to know such entities but do not as you lack experience in these type actions. DoD and CIA are the leaders promoting expenditures not NSC and WH. Very likely Sullivan was misled as well. Not defending Sullivan and Blinken but they are to naive as well. In Zelensky land the issue is more cash in real dollars… Read more »
