Even if Russia occupies all of Ukraine, the war will not end, as Nato will keep supplying Ukrainian partisans with weapons and armour, and flood the country with mercenaries, in a terrorist war against Russian forces.
This war will only end, when Russia attacks the countries that are arming Ukraine.

Fighting in the Same areas, when the kill ratio is 10-1 is very advantageous to the Russians as they do not have to extend their supply lines to destroy the Ukrainian Military.
