I don’t believe it’s “naivety.” I rather suspect he plays it safe and knows whose a$$ he must kiss to survive in the current climate. It’s also possible he tries to make it possible for his partner in crime to survive in censorship hell by providing some balance. Just a wild guess.
What would have been tragic is if the MI6 and CIA had succeeded in fomenting a Maidan in Moscow which is what Navalny had signed up for.
All the bullshit that has been churned out by the western press should now hang its head in shame. Those poor sods in the Ukrainian army were egged on by the armchair generals and now we get total silence from the western media. Can we please have some silence from the legacy press now.
As far as I am concerned, the only useful purpose of the “legacy press” is that it tells me what not to believe, which usually leads to to believe the opposite of what they say. That tends to lead me to finding the truth, as 98% of the time it’s the opposite of what they say.
