From what you both say, it sounds like France and England want a pretext to call NATO “to the rescue”. By putting 10,000 troups anywhere in Ukraïne, they want any number of them to be killed, under any circumstance, in order to justify drawing all of NATO into a full-blown war. The objective could then be to distract the media away from any social and economic woes at home, and to focus it entirely on the war.
