If Israel escalates to nuclear weapons – or if the USA does so – the perpetrator will be a pariah and an outcast in the eyes of the world.
Trade and financial embargoes would be just the first step. Countries like China might find it inconvenient to export strategic raw materials to the USA, its dependencies, or Israel. None of those countries are essential or even important to world trade.
The world would move as rapidly as possible to dispense with the dollar and the whole financial structure associated with it.
I doubt that they would let that genie out of the bottle just yet. The ramifications now (this is not 1945) would be unbelievable. Of course, if humans are a failed species and ready to destroy their planet, this would be the way to go.
It is commonly supposed that humans are an “Intelligent Species”. An “Intelligent Species” does not solve problems with bombs and bullets.

This is the bleakest time since 9/11 and WMD. I am tired of the USA calling all the shots. 2 observations although I have not quite finished the video. At about 43:00 it comes up the verifiable fact that Iran has the largest Jewish community in the Middle East outside of Israel. And that Iran, Persia and the Achaemenid Empire has a long and ancient history with Hebrews. This is exactly the reason why Jews and Israel hate the Iranians, because they, better than anyone in the Middle East and in fact the entire world, Iranian know the Jews. I would also argue that Brian is correct in his assessment that Israël is a proxy of the US, and not the other way around. It was the US that forced Israël to align itself with NATO & Germany, and imposed on Jews the humiliation of having to work alongside former Gestapo officers. During the cold war, the victims of the German Holocaust came mostly from USSR territories, so it would have been more logical (and humane), for Israël to be allied with the Soviet Union.
