Many Americans want this, though I’m not sure it will ever happen. The products of many states are dependent on other states, including military, tech and food. Also, the powers that be understand that breaking up large countries — balkanization, like they did to Yugoslavia — yields small countries that the U.S. and friends can push around, leaving little f*cked up fiefdoms that disregard their people and are desperate for resources and support from the corrupt sources of power. If Trump were to clearly state his intention if elected, to correct his previous serious errors this time by appointing non-Neocon -aligned cabinet members and agency heads and commanding them to actually ‘drain the swamp’ – then we might have a bit more confidence that improved relations with Russia and China (and Iran, etc.) could be achieved. Otherwise, I wouldn’t expect any significant change in US foreign policy with a Trump presidency because he would be controlled by the elites just as before, same as any other president.
