Trump and Elon are bringing you freedom of speech—psych, he’s bringing fascist censorship. We need to fight this anti-socialist brain rot, or we are doomed.

I was going to write about ideologies like religion being used to manipulate people, but this is even more important. If this doesn’t open people’s eyes to the fascism of the right wing, I don’t know what will. People blindly believe that rich people like Trump and Elon are here to help them, and I warned them that they were wrong.

Now, all this talk about fighting the “deep state” and “big government” is nonsense. By fighting big government, they mean attacking social security, labor laws, unions, and consumer protection agencies – all the elements of government that protect normal working-class people from corporations. But of course, since these protections are part of the state, they are labeled as “horrible socialism and communism,” disturbing the supposedly wonderful free market. Why would we need labor laws limiting the working day to eight hours? The free market will regulate working hours itself, right?

We are slowly moving backward. Instead of progressing toward a better future, we are returning to the worst times. Soon, our society will resemble the world depicted in Dickens’ novels, where the free market reigns supreme. After all, why do we need child labor protections? They, too, are part of this “horrible” state, socialism, and communism. We should just abolish them and let the free market regulate itself so that children can work in factories at the ages of 10, 12, or even younger – to “learn the value of hard work.”

One day in the future, those fascists and so-called “libertarians” who fight against socialism and this imaginary communism will face the consequences of their beliefs. When they will be 70 years old (if they even live that long, given that their wonderful private healthcare system is actively reducing life expectancy in the U.S.), they will escort their young 10 year old grandchildren to factories to work before heading off to work themselves – because social security will have been dismantled in the name of fighting “big government, socialism, and communism.” As they send their grandchild off to the factory, they will proudly tell them tales of how they bravely fought against big government, socialism, and communism – for their “freedom” to:

End their education burdened with massive debt

Work 12-hour shifts, seven days a week

Be deplatformed and silenced by corporations for saying the “wrong” things

Die in the streets when they get sick, with no healthcare to save them

This is the world we are heading toward, and that’s why I feel the need to speak up. I don’t want future generations to live worse lives than we did.

Now, we have a member of our Duran community – I won’t mention his name, so let’s call him Mr. “C.” He constantly rants about imaginary communism in the EU. Socialism and communism are supposed to fight big capital and corporations, yet somehow, in his upside-down world, corporations are communist. In reality, corporations are not communist – they are fascist. And the best part? This person openly supports fascism.

He talks about some imaginary “Marxist Communist Trotskyist Judeo-Bolshevik Cabal” supposedly represented by corporations. But in reality, corporations are fascistic and support Zionism and Israel. So he supports fascism, which in turn supports corporations and their censorship. The same attacks on consumer protection agencies – part of this “big state socialism and communism” – will soon be used to deplatform and debank him. I hope that when this happens, he will look in the mirror and say to himself that he deserves it. After all, as a fascist, he supports the right of corporations to deplatform and debank him. Allowing state institutions like consumer protection agencies to defend his right to free speech or access to banking would be – according to him – this “horrible socialism and communism” that he is so desperate to fight against. He must, therefore, defend the right of corporations to silence and financially strangle him.

If we don’t fight against this anti-socialist brain rot, our future generations will live in a world straight out of Dickens’ novels. Our parents and grandparents fought against fascism, big capital, and corporate exploitation to build a better future for us. Now, because of this anti-socialist brainwashing, people are throwing away the sacrifices and struggles of our parents and grandparents.

Finally, I suggest that The Duran create a way for supporters to contribute via mail, sending money directly, because soon, they might find themselves debanked simply for speaking the truth about what is happening in Gaza and about Israel’s actions.
