Alex’s points about Russia being more powerful than NATO seems at odds the Eric Zeuss article that Russia is now losing the air war. Ukraine is destroying Russia oil production. Drones targeted by USG are supposedly turning the tide of the war to Ukraine’s favor. So which is it if Trump is being briefed on Zuess allegations then Trump would believe Russia is about to collapse. Again,b which is true?

The way I look at those aricles is as follows: “Hey, I have a great idea! How about if start an un winnable war and then, when we lose and humiliate the west, we can use that as a justification to keep spending massively on defense instead of wasting the money to provide the people decent health care”
Respectfully Alexander, you are working too hard to concoct a narrative about what Trump has done and/or will do next. There is no evidence that Trump miscalculated his poker hand with Putin and had to back down. All we know for certain is what he has done. That has been to pause all foreign aid except for Israel and Egypt.
