von der Leyen – deluded old bat. MEPs make huge speeches in the Chamber denouncing her as a fraud, an unelected tyrant, a criminal and she sits there, impassively, as it washes over her head. She has now convinced herself that she made a great deal with Trump and he praised her for her tough stance with the Chinese. I maybe don’t know much about geopolitics but I can see no valid reason for the US (or anyone else) to tell another country what to do and where they must do their shopping.
Off topic but Amazing – I just saw on CNN (which happened to be on tv where I was having drinks ) the sophisticated International Correspondent, Christiane Amanpour, interview Two Israeli Jew Doctors who have worked in Gaza and who actually told the Truth about Starvation and Genocide caused by the Israelis. Christiane Amanpour also frustratingly highlighted that no media were being allowed in by Israel. This is not only a first by CNN but also by western media as far as I know.
