I agree with Glenn when it comes to deporting illegal immigrants, but not about drugs. What you have to do is not try to hunt down drug dealers but go after the banks. They launder the money for the cartels. Without them, the cartels could not operate. Once you stop the money laundering, all they have is vast amounts of hard cash they get from drug users. They have nowhere to keep it and no ability to fund large operations with it. Large amounts of cash can be tracked down. Just buy some drugs using marked bills posing as a user and follow it. Every bank with a charter in the US needs to be audited with a fine-tooth comb. But this is not going to happen as long as the CIA is in charge. They fund their operations with drug money.
