The world is not black and white, so stop your simplistic analysis. Blackmail and Division within the Deep State — an old video by Whitney Webb.

I want to touch in this post about the division within the deep state. While it is essentially one big corporate blob – the real power behind our Western Capitalist Empire of Evil – there are also divisions within it. This subject will also touch on Russia and Putin. First, I want to say that I see Putin as a good leader, and I wish we had leaders like him in the West. At the same time, he would not have come to power without working with this corporate blob, which is the essence of the evil of our Empire. So it’s not as if he is completely clean. Let’s get into it.

Blackmail

The first video attached to this post tells old stories about the corporate blob that leads our Western Capitalist Empire of Evil, while the second one touches on a subject I want to tackle here. I will briefly touch on the first video, but a huge part of this discussion is about Roy Marcus Cohn, who was called the “original swamp creature” in the video. In my opinion, that title should go to the Dulles brothers, but Roy Cohn is certainly a swamp creature and can be considered a precursor to Jeffrey Epstein.

Roy Cohn had connections with organized crime, intelligence agencies, and the corporate blob. One of his specialties was blackmail – just like Jeffrey Epstein. Like Epstein, he procured underage girls and boys for elites, organizing orgies in his famous Blue Suite hotel, which can be seen as a precursor to Epstein Island.

It’s important to note that Roy Cohn was a mentor to Donald Trump and allegedly gave him ideas for his book The Art of the Deal. So, thinking Trump is not part of the swamp or the deep state when his mentor was a gay blackmailer and pedophile who worked with the corporate blob, organized crime, and intelligence agencies, is really naïve.

Later, Trump bought the Blue Suite hotel, which functioned like Epstein Island and allegedly was full of cameras. While orgies with underage girls and boys were organized there, participants were recorded for future blackmail. It’s very interesting that Trump purchased it. This was also mentioned in an old video I posted and shared many times from the channel Eyes Wide Open. While the channel has videos only for patrons, at the end of the year, all videos are released to the public, so soon we will have many interesting videos available.

Roy Cohn, a central figure in the web of influence, was reportedly found in bed with his client’s wife, Susan Kaufman, before he brought her to the Blue Suite in 1958. Kaufman remarked that this wasn’t normal behavior for a lawyer and his client. It’s also alleged that Cohn procured the young men who frequented the Blue Suite. His continued closeness to the New York power elite, the Nixon and Reagan administrations, and Donald Trump would later raise questions about further blackmail within these elite circles.

The question of who was blackmailing whom has two possible answers.

The first, and more straightforward, answer is that J. Edgar Hoover was the main target. The FBI, under his leadership, largely ignored the Mafia’s growing power in the United States, and many believe mobsters like Meyer Lansky “owned” Hoover.

This leads to the second, more complex, possibility: they were all blackmailing each other. If each powerful member of this elite circle had incriminating information on the others, they’d be infinitely loyal to one another. Using blackmail against someone else would ultimately compromise the blackmailer themselves. This creates a situation where the blackmail is not so much an active measure but a passive tool for maintaining cohesion.

By participating in the Blue Suite orgies, these men were binding themselves together on a common mission, which some argue was to protect organized crime and the global drug trade—two critical elements of Gladio. This tactic seemingly succeeded, as mob activity continued to balloon throughout the 1950s and ’60s while the FBI looked the other way. The CIA also continued to use mob elements for operations across the globe.

Sexual blackmail has been a recurring theme in the history of intelligence and, more specifically, within Gladio stay-behind networks.

• Marc Dutroux: This Belgian criminal created a depraved network of pedophiles in the 1990s that allegedly involved several high-ranking Belgian and NATO-affiliated figures. During the same period, Belgium was shaken by the Brabant attacks, which many researchers have tied to NATO, the CIA, and Belgian officials.

• The Stockholm Brothel: According to sources, the CIA operated a honey pot brothel in Stockholm, Sweden, to blackmail and entrap people within the Swedish underground. Individuals associated with this brothel have been linked to the 1986 assassination of Prime Minister Olof Palme.

• The Susurluk Car Crash: In Turkey, a prominent politician was in a car wreck with a high-ranking member of the fascist paramilitary group, the Gray Wolves, who have alleged ties to NATO, and a famous beauty queen. This incident highlights how organized crime and NATO stay-behind organizations are tied to the larger power structure through sexual blackmail schemes.

The Epstein case is seen by many as the pinnacle of sexual blackmail. What allegedly took place in the Blue Suite is a miniature version of the Epstein case—the use of blackmail not as an active measure to get someone to do what you want, but as a passive tool to maintain cohesion across an entire network. When people say vast conspiracies can’t happen because someone would inevitably speak out, remember that behind these networks often lies a lot of dirt. Since everyone is compromised, everyone looks out for each other. The characters in this Blue Suite circle had helpful allies within the CIA and the Federal Bureau of Narcotics.

There is another interesting thing to mention about Trump.

An interesting side note before discussing George White is that Resorts International was briefly owned by Donald Trump in the 1980s. This is a curious coincidence given the connections to Roy Cohn, who was close to both Trump and Meyer Lansky, the rumored figure behind Resorts International. Trump acquired the company in 1986, the same year Cohn died. By this point, Lansky was also deceased, yet it remains an intriguing detail.

Meyer Lansky, who was a head of organized crime, is often credited with initiating blackmail schemes. Allegedly, he procured compromising photos of J. Edgar Hoover engaging in homosexual activities, which is why Hoover, the longest-serving director of the FBI, refused to acknowledge the existence of organized crime until the end of his career. By obtaining this leverage over Hoover, Lansky ensured that his organized crime operations could function without interference. Additionally, since organized crime and intelligence agencies merged in 1942 through Operation Underworld, it’s not surprising that those photos were reportedly provided to James Jesus Angleton, the right-hand man of Allen Dulles and chief of counterintelligence at the CIA.

Meyer Lansky’s blackmail efforts didn’t end with J. Edgar Hoover. He also mentored Roy Cohn, who operated the Blue Suite hotel, which functioned similarly to Epstein’s Island – a place for orgies involving underage girls and boys, equipped with cameras to record compromising material. The fact that Roy Cohn, essentially an earlier version of Jeffrey Epstein, was a mentor to Donald Trump should raise questions. If you believe Trump is entirely innocent and uninvolved in such activities, I think you’re naïve. I agree with the perspective of the author of the “Eyes Wide Open” channel that this was passive blackmail. I suspect some participants in these pedophile orgies didn’t even want to engage but felt coerced. However, I believe there were true predators, like Bill Clinton and Bill Gates, who likely participated willingly and enjoyed it. Others, I suspect, didn’t want to participate but did so for access to power.

There are rumors – though I don’t know if they’re true – that align with my beliefs about what’s happening. These rumors suggest Bernie Sanders was coerced into having sex with a young boy to gain acceptance from the Democrats. While I can’t confirm this, I believe such scenarios occur. They take you to a room filled with cameras, tell you there’s a young boy or girl, and demand you engage in sexual activity or they won’t work with you. Some people, while reluctant, justify it by thinking, “If I do this and gain access to the inner circle, I can do some good for people.” Meanwhile, the organizers make it clear: “If you don’t do this, we won’t work with you because we need compromising material to control you. Without it, we won’t trust you.”

In my opinion, virtually every person in a position of power today is compromised in this way. You cannot rise to prominence without aligning with this corporate blob – this “McMafia.” They won’t work with you unless they have leverage over you. Consequently, nearly every high-level member of the U.S. Congress and Senate, as well as every member of the European Commission, is likely compromised by this McMafia in some way. Otherwise, they would not have achieved their positions of power.

The Deep State
I suspect Putin is also, in some way, compromised. He was part of the World Economic Forum’s Young Leaders program, and he even took part in the plundering of Saint Petersburg’s resources. Putin would not have come to power in Russia without being compromised to some degree. Yeltsin, who was a Western puppet, handed power to Putin – and he would not have done so without the seal of approval from our Western Capitalist Empire of Evil. You could see this in what the West said about Putin in the beginning. The whole story was well described by Max Blumenthal in a video I have posted and shared many times before, outlining the short history of Russia’s second Cold War.

Boris Yeltsin basically became too drunk to continue on, he appointed Vladimir Putin, who had been involved in the privatization project in St. Petersburg and was close to Anatoly Chubais and other reformers from the Gorbachev era. These “Harvard boys” and others initially saw Putin as a way to continue the privatization process. Many, including Bill Browder, praised Putin early on.

However, Putin began imprisoning oligarchs who didn’t contribute to the Russian economy, such as those from Yukos Oil. This move sent shockwaves through the US national security and foreign policy establishments. Although Putin was not a socialist, he was re-centering the economy around a state-capitalist model. The US responded with “color revolutions” in Georgia (removing Eduard Shevardnadze) and Ukraine (the Orange Revolution).

These revolutions were allegedly guided by the CIA but carried out through foundations like the Open Society Institute and the US-funded National Endowment for Democracy. Private media was also used to drive these movements. Many students who participated were earnest and believed they were fighting for freedom but were ultimately used as pawns in a geopolitical game of destabilization.

Now let’s look at the Whitney Webb video. This part is for people who believe in Elon. I even heard on The Duran that Elon was really trying to help, and that’s why he got in trouble – which, in my opinion, is complete nonsense. Elon was one of the founders of PayPal, which was created with the help of every three-letter agency in existence. The creators of PayPal went on to form the so-called “PayPal Mafia,” of which Elon is a part – so he is also a swamp creature.

Just like Pierre Omidyar, Elon Musk has significant ties to the national security state; he is a defense and intelligence contractor. His fortune is largely built on heavily government-subsidized loans that helped him establish companies like Tesla, SpaceX, and SolarCity, most of which have been historically unprofitable. His anti-establishment persona seems questionable given this background.

Some believe Musk’s public image is a psychological operation to restore public trust. Just as the public’s perception of figures like Glenn Greenwald and organizations like The Intercept changed over time, people should be cautious about buying into the hype surrounding Musk.

The World Economic Forum and other entities have prioritized rebuilding public trust. Musk could be a key part of this effort, serving as a trusted public figure who can promote agendas that people might oppose if they were fronted by figures like Bill Gates or Klaus Schwab. Musk supports policies such as a carbon tax, universal basic income (UBI), and brain implants, all of which are often disliked when associated with other figures.

The development of Neuralink’s brain chip is particularly concerning. In animal trials, 20% of the subjects either died or suffered gruesome fates. Normally, a medical product with such a high failure rate in animal testing would be sent back to the drawing board, not advanced to human trials. Despite this, Neuralink is proceeding with human trials.

Now let’s touch on eugenics, since some fascist, Nazi fanboys and Hitler worshipers promote it in the comments on The Duran.

I’ve learned that Julian Huxley, the brother of Aldous Huxley, was the president of the British Eugenics Society. Following World War II, he was placed in charge of UNESCO, the social and cultural arm of the United Nations. In his vision for the organization, he wrote that they needed to “make the unthinkable thinkable again,” referring to eugenics. This suggests he intended to use UNESCO to achieve his goals.

Approximately ten years later, Huxley wrote a book titled New Bottles for New Wine, where he coined the term “transhumanism.” He presented this concept as the “new eugenics,” describing the merging of man and machine and the use of technologies to edit the human body genetically. This represents a shift from older forms of eugenics, such as selective breeding and racial science, toward a more technologically advanced approach that can be applied to living individuals, fetuses, or genetically engineered babies.

Some people believe that eugenics, particularly the idea of creating a “master race,” is a thing of the past. However, it has merely evolved, and that evolution has been led by many of the same people and groups who were involved in its older forms. A key group that has consistently supported both the old and new forms of eugenics is the Rockefeller Foundation. The Rockefellers funded the foundations of Nazi race science programs in the 1930s and continue to fund modern iterations of these concepts today.

Now, something more connected to the present pre-crime issue. We recently heard JD Vance lecture people in Europe about free speech, and some actually believed him – thinking JD Vance, who was groomed by Peter Thiel (who was co-founder of PayPal with Elon Musk and one of the biggest swamp creatures), is a good guy. Meanwhile, Trump is coming forward with pre-crime. First, let’s see what Whitney is saying.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, at the same time William Barr was starting his initiative, were lobbying Trump to create a new government entity called HARPA, or Health DARPA. The flagship program of this initiative, designed by former DARPA directors, including Jeffrey Ling, was an AI-driven program to data mine social media posts. It would analyze the posts people make freely to look for early neuropsychiatric warning signs of future violent behavior.

Although the program wasn’t created under Trump, it was later established under the Biden administration with a different name—ARPA-H (with the H moved to the end)—and under a different pretext. Biden presented it as a way to cure cancer, but it is the same program with the same architects. It is now housed under the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Now let’s take a look at a recent Jimmy Dore episode about it.

First Lady Melania Trump’s call for “preemptive intervention in identifying potential school shooters” was a pitch for Gideon, an AI threat detection platform. According to an American-Canadian actor and former Israeli Defense Forces operative named Cohen, Gideon “scrapes the internet 24/7 using an Israeli-grade ontology to pull specific threat language and then roots it to local law enforcement.” He called it “a 24/7 detective” that “never sleeps” and “is going to get us in front of these attacks.”

Some people believe these mass shootings are not organic events. A historical example often cited is the Texas clock tower shooting. The person speaking believes this individual was a victim of MK-Ultra and that all such perpetrators are connected to the military or CIA or are at least known to authorities.

The speaker notes that a generation ago, these types of violent events were called “going postal,” referring to outbursts by postal workers. This trend seemingly shifted to school shootings after 1989, around the time of the Columbine High School massacre. The speaker doesn’t believe that any of these attacks were not engineered by intelligence agencies, arguing that even copycat events are rare. They claim that every shooting they’ve researched has had some connection to intelligence and that the official stories released by the media are often changed years later, but by then, the public has already moved on.

As an example, they mention a shooting in Australia by a person who was “clearly autistic.” They suggest that the shooting was used as a pretext for the government to take away guns, which Australians willingly gave up. The speaker believes that the same strategy hasn’t worked in America because Americans, unlike Australians, don’t trust their government due to a lack of social services. They claim that since this tactic failed, the establishment has now shifted to promoting mass surveillance as a solution to mass shootings.

The speaker then plays a clip of a promotional video for Gideon AI. In the clip, a man explains that Gideon is “the first real-time AI system built to detect threats online before they become attacks.” He states that the system will give law enforcement an “early warning detection system” and that his team includes engineers from Palantir. He urges police chiefs and venture capitalists to partner with him to “make America safe again.” The speaker points out the mention of Palantir as further evidence of connections to the intelligence community.

So while JD Vance lectures Europeans about free speech, Melania Trump is promoting Israeli AI tools in partnership with Palantir to implement pre-crime. Yet JD Vance, who was groomed by Peter Thiel, the creator of Palantir, is considered a good guy just because he said a few words about free speech – while his boss, Peter Thiel, is implementing pre-crime AI in the U.S.

Now, this part is very interesting.

A common trend over the last 20 years has been a large-scale psychological operation creating a divide where the left strongly dislikes Russia while the right strongly dislikes China. This is convenient for the US Empire, as these are its two main adversaries.

Neither Russia nor China are being defended. The issues are transnational. The expansion of this “Enterprise” is a global problem, not concentrated in the national leadership of a few countries. A clear example of this is the COVID-19 pandemic, where supposedly adversarial governments implemented the same biosecurity policies. These policies, which lack a strong scientific basis, serve to advance technocracy, digitalization, and control. In many ways, Russia and China have advanced in these Orwellian directions faster than the U.S.

For instance, Russia promoted its Sputnik V vaccine, and some in the independent media who are critical of the US Empire assumed it must be superior. However, it’s essentially the same as AstraZeneca, and the Russian government has collected almost no data on adverse reactions. The only data available on Sputnik has been collected in Argentina, where it was used alongside other vaccines. The Gamaleya Center, which produces the vaccine, has a lot of problems, and people should look to Riley Wageman’s Substack for more information.

The West has been trying to contain Russia for a long time. In the 1980s, many crimes were justified under the guise of combating communism. However, in the 1990s, the “Enterprise” became associated with the mafia and organized crime in the Soviet Union, who were business partners of Robert Maxwell. These figures, such as Simeon Mogilevich, were heavily involved in the capital flight out of Russia and the creation of oligarchs during its rapid privatization after the Soviet Union’s collapse.

During this period, strange alliances formed. Maurice Strong, the alleged co-founder of the World Economic Forum with Klaus Schwab, teamed up with Mikhail Gorbachev to create a center for the “green movement.” This center’s purpose was to subvert the genuine environmental movement and transform it into a branch of the eugenics movement.

Concurrently, many individuals involved in the Iran-Contra scandal were also implicated in the Clinton-era scandal known as China Gate. This scandal involved transferring sensitive U.S. military technology to companies tied to China’s People’s Liberation Army. These companies were often run by “princelings,” the children of prominent Communist Party leaders. One of these princelings, so capitalist that his father disowned him, was in charge of major state-owned conglomerates and was China’s biggest arms dealer in the 1990s.

This part talks about how, from Soviet Russia to modern Russia, our Western Capitalist Empire of Evil compromised people within Russia, and how crime organizations and the rise of oligarchs there were supported by our corporate elite at the head of that empire. This shows that Russia, like China, is not so clean. I still feel more supportive of Russia and China, but COVID showed me it’s not so simple, and the problem can be international in nature. After all, why did China and Russia go along with the COVID narrative? If someone like me could see it was nonsense, surely they knew too. So why did they go along with it? If Russia and China were truly clean and the so-called “good guys,” why didn’t they tell the whole world that COVID was one big lie? Anyway, let’s continue.

Division within the Deep State

Now we come to the second video attached to this post, which discusses division within the deep state. First, let’s start with Adnan Khashoggi, who was a blackmailer, much like Roy Cohn and Jeffrey Epstein, involved in procuring underage boys and girls for the elite to secure blackmail material. Adnan Khashoggi was connected to Epstein. As an interesting side note, Trump bought Khashoggi’s yacht, which was allegedly equipped with cameras and used for orgies with minors, serving a similar role to Epstein’s Island and Roy Cohn’s Blue Suite hotel. Isn’t it intriguing that Trump purchased both Khashoggi’s yacht and Roy Cohn’s Blue Suite hotel, which served the same purpose as Epstein’s Island? It seems Trump has a pattern of acquiring properties where pedophile blackmailers allegedly organized their orgies with underage boys and girls. I’m surprised Trump hasn’t bought Epstein’s Island yet.

Adnan Khashoggi, a preeminent Saudi Arabian arms dealer, was known for his vast fortune, his yacht, and his intelligence ties to agencies around the world, including Israeli and CIA intelligence. He was also involved in a sex blackmail operation run by a madam named Fortuna Israel, or “Madame Tuna.” Khashoggi used a supposed harem on his yacht to manipulate influential people from the private and public sectors, leveraging this information for his arms business and other endeavors.

Khashoggi was a central figure in what became the Iran-Contra scandal. He helped bridge the trust gap between those who wanted to sell weapons to Iran and the Khomeini-led government, reportedly by making a large payment on behalf of Israeli intelligence. Interestingly, at the time of this payment, his financial advisor was Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein left Bear Stearns in March 1981 amid a scandal over insider trading related to the Seagrams company. Two months before he left, the legal counsel for Bear Stearns was William Casey, who later became the CIA director. It’s speculated that Casey, who never fully divested from his business interests, may have advised Epstein to leave to protect his mentor, Alan Greenberg, the top guy at Bear Stearns.

Following his departure, Epstein entered a “murky period” until around 1985, during which he ran a company called Intercontinental Assets Group. He has stated that he acted as a “financial bounty hunter,” hiding or recovering looted money for powerful people. This work required him to have an intimate knowledge of the offshore financial system and its criminal underbelly.

Khashoggi’s main bank during Iran-Contra was the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI). A former business partner of Epstein’s, Steve Hoffenberg, alleged that Epstein worked for BCCI. This seems plausible given that BCCI was essentially a private intelligence apparatus that also engaged in the sex trafficking of minors, activities with eerie similarities to what Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell would later be accused of.

BCCI was allegedly founded by Pakistani intelligence with the involvement of former CIA director Richard Helms. It was also involved in money laundering and other financial crimes. Prominent figures like Clark Clifford were involved in its entry into the U.S. financial system. Clifford and other BCCI-adjacent people later appeared with Epstein at a 1993 Clinton White House fundraiser.

During the same period, people close to Bill Casey, such as Robert Keith Gray and Roy Cohn, also took on Khashoggi as a client, highlighting further connections. Iran-Contra itself was about Bill Casey’s desire to create a self-financing black budget for the CIA, free from congressional oversight. This necessitated engaging in criminal activities like drug and arms trafficking and using the offshore financial system. Jeffrey Epstein was at the center of this.

This background helps contextualize the Epstein-Clinton relationship. After the Iran-Contra period, Epstein got involved with Stephen Hoffenberg and masterminded one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in U.S. history at Towers Financial. Despite being a major figure in the scheme, his name was mysteriously dropped from the case, suggesting high-level intervention.

Instead of going to jail, Epstein was invited to the White House by Robert Rubin, who was then director of the National Economic Council and formerly the head of Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs was also an accessory to Robert Maxwell’s financial crimes. Epstein was deeply involved in Clinton’s controversial 1996 campaign fundraising, which was later scrutinized for illegal activity and linked to the China Gate scandal. He had numerous meetings with Mark Middleton, a central figure in that scandal. Following Clinton’s presidency, Epstein was intimately involved in creating and designing the Clinton Foundation’s initiatives.

The speaker argues that Epstein was not merely a sex trafficker but a financial criminal who served powerful people. The mainstream media has avoided focusing on this side of the story because it would force them to acknowledge the Clintons’ corrupt relationships.

Finally, we reach the part about the division within the deep state.

Many people haven’t discussed the close relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and Muhammad bin Salman (MBS) of Saudi Arabia. After the raid on Epstein’s home in 2019, reports surfaced about numerous photographs of Epstein with MBS. This is particularly strange when considering the circumstances surrounding MBS’s rise to power, including his closeness to Jared Kushner, Adam Neumann of WeWork, and his friendliness toward Israel.

MBS was allowed to depose his senior cousin, Muhammad bin Nayef, a close associate of former CIA director John Brennan. Following this, MBS consolidated power through a dramatic purge, imprisoning many of his relatives in a Ritz-Carlton. This unconventional path to power, which seemingly uprooted a CIA-aligned figure and replaced him with a more unconventional one, suggests that MBS may have been supported by external, non-traditional forces within the Saudi power structure.

Upon taking power, MBS introduced Vision 2030, a plan for a post-oil, digitalized economy. As a part of this initiative, he granted citizenship to Sophia the robot, a project funded by a scientist with connections to Epstein. Furthermore, Epstein was reportedly the one who was going to get Saudi Arabia to help take Elon Musk’s Tesla private in 2018.

Some people believe that Epstein was not taken down because of his sex trafficking crimes but because his association with MBS and his faction angered John Brennan and his allies. This suggests a conflict within the power elite.

While there is no evidence that Epstein and Trump were closely associated in 2019, they may have belonged to the same broader power faction. The speaker argues that a president like Trump is a figurehead with powerful backers, such as the late Sheldon Adelson, who was the biggest donor in U.S. politics. Adelson’s main goals were to get Jerusalem recognized as the capital of Israel and to install John Bolton as National Security Advisor, both of which Trump did.

The speaker concludes that Trump and Epstein, while not necessarily friends in 2019, were likely part of a similar, and what they describe as “pretty Zionist-heavy,” power structure.

So now we have the John Brennan faction and the more Zionist-heavy Epstein faction, which is connected to Trump. John Brennan groomed someone to be the leader of Saudi Arabia, but he was undermined by the more Zionist-heavy Epstein faction, which instead installed Muhammad bin Salman (MBS) as the leader of Saudi Arabia.

I suspect Biden came from the John Brennan faction, which explains why MBS didn’t like him, and why MBS prefers Trump, who is aligned with the Epstein faction that helped put him into power. Now we know MBS was placed into power by the Zionist-heavy Epstein faction, and I’m sure people have already seen this video:

If MBS was installed by the Zionist-heavy Epstein faction, and he is also close with both Trump and Putin – and considering all the things Trump has done for Israel, combined with Putin’s Russia being strangely silent about Israel’s crimes – this makes me think Putin may also be connected to the Zionist-heavy Epstein faction.

This could also explain why Iran does not fully trust Putin’s Russia. As mentioned earlier, Russian oligarchs are tied to the Western capitalist empire of corporate power, and these oligarchs maybe are more aligned with the Epstein faction.

I’ve also written before that there’s a chance Russia might be willing to sacrifice Iran for a stronger position within BRICS. While this may sound strange to people with a simplistic view of the world, I’ve explained it before: China is playing a double game with Russia. Both Russia and Iran are major energy exporters in the BRICS bloc, which gives China leverage – it can choose whether to buy energy from Iran or Russia, and this competition allows China to secure better prices.

Because of this dynamic, Putin might be considering sacrificing Iran to the West. Doing so would cut China off from Middle Eastern energy resources, forcing China to depend primarily on Russia for its energy needs. That, in turn, would give Russia leverage over China.

The long-standing negotiation delays between Russia and China regarding energy trade, primarily due to disagreements over pricing, have ended under pressure from the U.S. to cut off all Russian energy. This suggests that without the pressure from the Trump administration, the two countries might still be in a state of disagreement.

The main point of contention has always been about pricing. In the metals trade between Russia and China, there have been significant differences in how the Chinese approach pricing for large capital commitments. The Chinese, who are investing approximately 40% of a $15 billion project to build pipelines, want pricing flexibility. They want to link the price of energy to changes in the market, allowing it to fluctuate up and down. Conversely, the Russians, who have already built the gas field infrastructure and pipelines on their side, want a fixed price. Both countries, however, want to delink the price from the dollar-based energy market. While the specific points of disagreement—whether it was about the link between oil and gas prices or spot pricing—are unknown, the dispute lasted for years.

Ultimately, the pressure from Trump transformed the issue from a purely financial matter into one of military, security, and strategic importance, forcing the two sides to reach an agreement.

John says he isn’t sure about the reason for the delay, but he thinks it was related to pricing. I partially disagree. I’ve written before that I heard from some Western propaganda programs that China had secret documents prepared in case of Russia’s collapse, which Russia eventually discovered. According to this, China was preparing to annex all the eastern regions of Russia if the country fell apart. I also wrote before that China sees Russia as a European country and as a leftover of European colonialism.

That’s Russia’s problem: China doesn’t see it as an Asiatic country, but as a European one, a relic of European imperialism. Meanwhile, Europe doesn’t see Russia as a European country either, but rather as an Asiatic one. Russia is caught between worlds, one foot in Europe, one in Asia, yet never fully recognized by either side.

China views Russia as a leftover of European imperialism, a European country controlling eastern lands populated by people of Asian ethnicity. From China’s perspective, those lands should not be ruled by what they see as a European state. At the same time, Europe sees Russia as an Asiatic, second-class state, “not really Western”, because so much of its territory is populated by people they consider second-class due to their Asian ethnicity.

China has been playing a double game with Russia. For example, China did not recognize the regions annexed by Russia. At the same time, it supplied both sides with weapons in the form of commercial drones, profiting from the war, while refusing to approve the second Siberia pipeline. If China were truly on Russia’s side, it would have approved the pipeline after Nord Stream was blown up and Russian energy exports to Europe were cut off. That would have helped Russia’s economy. China also would have recognized Russia’s annexations and restricted the export of drones to the West to weaken Ukraine. It did none of those things.

China won’t help the West destroy Russia, but it also won’t help Russia defeat the West – not yet, anyway. In my view, China wants the war to last as long as possible. If the West wins quickly and Russia collapses, China could annex Russia’s eastern lands but it would weaken the West. If Russia wins too quickly the West would be weakened, which China wants. Either way, China wins more from a long, drawn-out war that bleeds the West.

If I’m right, and China really is playing a double game, Putin is smart enough to know it. He also knows China can only do this because it has an alternative source of energy in Iran. If Iran collapses, it can no longer threaten to close the Strait of Hormuz. Instead, the West could close it to China, blocking Middle Eastern energy exports entirely. That would make China heavily dependent on Russian energy, giving Russia major leverage.

In my opinion, this is why China and Russia finally agreed on the Siberia pipeline: China is afraid Iran will be destroyed, leaving the West in full control of the Middle East and its energy resources, which make up a huge share of China’s imports. If Iran falls, China could lose access to about 70% of its imported energy which comes from the Middle East. Facing that risk, China needs an alternative – and Russia can provide it.

This also explains why Russia may be willing to sacrifice Iran: doing so would make China desperate to secure Russian energy if the Middle East becomes inaccessible.

This ties into recent events in Venezuela as well. Right now, our Western Capitalist Empire of Evil controls nearly the entire Middle East, with the exception of Iran. Venezuela, with the largest oil reserves in the world, even greater than Saudi Arabia, represents another alternative. If the West destroys Iran, secures the Middle East, takes African oil resources (such as in Somalia, where, ironically, Trump is now dropping a record number of bombs), and gains control in Venezuela, it will dominate around 80% of the world’s oil and other energy resources.

At that point, the only major source of energy not under Western control would be Russia. This would leave China desperately dependent on Russian energy, giving Russia enormous leverage over China.

This is how I see it.
