So true. I had Washington Mutual Bank Accounts including MMs, CDs & IRAs & saw them become converted over to JPM Chase over a weekend in 2008 without any notice. To finance their takeover, Chase started paying far less interest on savings. I was able to exit from Chase several years ago, transferring to regional banks & a credit union, but Chase still nicked my credit score because I stopped using their MC & Visa.
