The Public’s Tolerance of Evil Politicians

If people learned from history, then the public would not tolerate evil politicians; but, unfortunately, the public does tolerate, and sometimes even respects, evil politicians.

If Adolf Hitler had won WW2, then how would history view him? Of course, that’s a speculative question, and opinions on it might vary widely, because no relevant data exist by which such a question can be answered.

By contrast, Barack Obama is and has been the most respected recent U.S. President, and this is just a fact. On 11 July 2018, the Pew Research Center headlined “Obama Tops Public’s List of Best President in Their Lifetime, Followed by Clinton, Reagan”. Then, on 21 December 2021, YouGov polled in 38 countries the question “Thinking about people alive in the world today, which [man or woman] do you most admire?” and headlined “World’s Most Admired 2021”, and they reported that Barack Obama was #1, with no close second; and that his wife, Michelle Obama, was #2. Then, closely bunched below them, #3 was Angelina Jolie, #4 was Bill Gates, #5 was Xi Jinping, #6 was Queen Elizabeth II, #7 was Jackie Chan, and #8 was Elon Musk. There was then a sharp fall-off after #8. But, clearly, Barack Obama was #1 — with no close second.

U.S. President Obama did more for U.S. armaments firms (whose sole or main market is U.S.-&-allied Governments) than any other U.S. President in recent decades did for them. He ran the coup in Ukraine in February 2014 that turned Ukraine’s government from being neutralist to being rabidly anti-Russia, the intention being that America would become enabled ultimately to place its nuclear missiles in Ukraine, only 317 miles away from The Kremlin, for a blitz annihilation within just five minutes — so as to checkmate and thus acquire Russia as another ‘ally’ (colony). That achievement by him led to massive new arms-purchases by NATO countries, and thus enormous profits to American billionaires (who control those armaments-manufacturers). Obama also illegally tried but failed to overthrow the very-popular-among-Syrians leader of Syria and so invaded that country and destroyed it. He did the same to Libya, but was more successful at it.

And, being a fascist who served his country’s billionaires instead of its public, he had secretly told Wall Street’s top banksters, on 27 March 2009,

My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks. You guys have an acute public-relations problem that’s turning into a political problem. And I want to help. But you need to show that you get that this is a crisis and that everyone has to make some sacrifices. I’m not out there to go after you. I’m protecting you. But if I’m going to shield you from public and congressional anger, you have to give me something to work with on these issues of compensation.

They gave him nothing but campaign-money. By Obama’s analogizing these billionaires to poor Blacks in former times who had been chased with pitchforks and lynched by bigot-gangs, Obama not only insulted the victims of those lynching, but he turned both ethics and history upside-down, because he was talking there with some of the key individuals who had profited enormously from those bankster scams. America’s super-rich had much to thank him for. And, so, their news-media treated Obama with exceptional favor, not only locally, but among their colonies, such as in the EU.

On 21 April 2013, I headlined “Is The Obama Administration the Most Corrupt in U.S. History?”. Then, on 24 January 2014, I headlined “Why Won’t Obama Go After Criminal Bankers?”. He wasn’t about to go after his megadonors, and more than George W. Bush did.

Obama had the worst record regarding governmental whistleblowers of any U.S. President, ever. On 15 April 2013, Marcy Wheeler headlined “War on Whistleblowers: How the Obama Administration Destroyed Thomas Drake For Exposing Government Waste”; then, on 16 March 2015, Spencer Ackerman and Ed Pilkington headlined “Obama’s war on whistleblowers leaves administration insiders unscathed”.

Obama was hugely rewarded: the world’s most-admired person!

In 2009, he was immediately awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, for his mere rhetoric.

On 26 July 2023, America’s National Public Radio propaganda operation headlined “Nobel Peace Prize Winners Say Ukraine Needs More Weapons to Prevail Against Russia”, and reported Michelle Keleman’s interviews of the three intensely anti-Russian pro-Ukrainian ‘peace activists’ who had won the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize, and they all were urging the U.S.-and-allied Governments to donate more, and more lethal, weapons to Ukraine, in order to defeat Russia so as to establish ‘peace’ there, in this land that the 2009 Nobel-Peace-Prize winner Obama had actually destroyed, and that his V.P. Biden now is President destroying even more.

But all U.S. Presidents in recent decades have likewise been fascists, and so too are all of the leaders of U.S.-allied Governments (i.e., America’s colonies).

So: the question arises: Why does this happen?

Of course, one could answer that the news-media are actually propaganda-media; and, though that is true, the public itself also bears some of the responsibility, because they are tolerating — or even respecting — these profoundly evil individuals. A good example is the extremely evil Barack Obama, who still remains so much respected that even ten years after he destroyed Ukraine and started the war there that might end in WW3 — in Ukraine, moreover, which isn’t even on America’s border; it is on Russia’s border; and, not only that, but it has by far the closest of all of Russia’s borders, to The Kremlin, a mere 317 miles away, which is the reason why Obama grabbed Ukraine — he’s enormously respected.

Right now in the United States, there are, as usual, two psychopaths running against each other for the White House, and almost all Americans consider this to be acceptable and will vote for one of them against the other of them and allow both of them still to call this nation a “democracy” — which it is not. They don’t demand that all of this constant lying stop. Anything is better than voting for a constant liar. But Americans do it almost all the time.

Just today, the Democratic Party’s candidate, Kamala Harris, appointed her V.P. running-mate, Tim Walz, who is just as much of a liar as she is and as Donald Trump is, and as Trump’s running-mate, J.D. Vance, is. And we’re supposed to VOTE for that?

Maybe all of the billionaires are just laughing their ways to the bank, while everybody else, as usual, continues to buy the lies and so believes them to be NOT evil. Guys like Hitler get caught far too late. And the billionaires who have funded such guys — they don’t get caught, at all, but continue controlling things and building up their dynasties, as-if they weren’t behind what had happened. And the public never learns from history. It’s as-if the most-solidly-documented facts didn’t even exist, at all. They’ve just gone down the memory-hole, and will maybe disappear altogether. We don’t know what the future holds. No one can. But, for anyone who digs deep, the evidence is irrefutable about the past. However, publishing it is extremely unprofitable, because the best-seller-lists are instead full of the ‘right kind of’ trash — whatever myths either of the two Parties’ billionaires want their followers to believe. Either the public’s tolerance of evil politicians will end, or else civilization itself will.
