A mockery yes and this so called international lawyer pronouncements, a mockery. Really a very thoroughgoing discussion. It seems that “International Law” must be redefined/canonized, but how (?), & how would or could it be enforced? It can’t be just certain powerful nations producing arbitrary “rules” & red lines. Int’l. Law must be agreed on by all nations, countries & people, otherwise it would remain to be a farcical concept with no real meaning or force. I propose that the UN mainly failed in this regard of guidance/enforcement via the institution of the Security Council.
