They have handled the SMO since the beginning: slow to move, not enough troops, underestimated the size and power of the Ukranian defensive force in Donbass, etc., etc. Sanctions? May I suggest an appropriately descriptive word beyond ‘criminal’ for the West’s push for Ukraine to launch a counteroffensive under the existing dire conditions? DASTARDLY

So using the astronomical defn of Spring , it will start in Kiev on 20 March and end 20 June (92 days). I expect some creative Western reporting over this time to divert from Ukraine’s lack of success with a Spring offensive.
