I have noticed the same thing for months if not years now. It’s mostly clickbait: headlines artfully exaggerated to lure you into reading the article. “Military Summary”, one of the better sites, has recently had headlines such as “Unstoppable Russian Offensive”, “The World Is At A Turning Point”, “Insane Russian Progress on The Frontlines”, etc. Once you acclimatise to the fact that a 400-metre advance is now considered a major breakthrough, you can skip most of the articles.
