Was anyone expecting the financial press to know what might happen? Thy would rather sell tis knowledge to their bosses or run to their favourite short seller. The ordinary citizen knows the economy is being looted by oligarchs, the increase in money supply is going to drop the value of US dollars through the floor, while COVID continues to slaughter and the environment goes to hell. The market needs another ‘bump’ of cheap money, except the Fed can’t print enough money to counteract the huge energy and food price increases.
