Amidst the many troubles in the world, sometimes, it’s nice to forget about it all and just watch cat videos.

Part of the problem is that people are too serious sometimes. There is so much suffering in the world, and it easily makes us cynical and jaded.

Certainly, there are many serious stories about Russia and the world worth discussing, but there is also good news to come out of Russia unconnected to some grand global conflict.

How often do we hear the names, or the statements of some Russophobic moron in the news, while people like these brave firefighters who work day and night to save lives go unnoticed?

Moreover, the cat hails from the amazing city of Volgograd, formerly Stalingrad, where the tide of WW2 was turned towards victory.
