Great comment Smoking Eagle! Meloni is out to lunch on the question of Ukraine. Those who supported her were silly to think that she would bring meaningful change.

The thing I love the most about Russia is the way that they commemorate/honour people and achievements with statuary/art and buildings. The West used to do that but now we are into pulling statues down, renaming streets and replacing cleanliness and art with rubbish and graffiti.
I agree 100%. Western countries seem to be playing out the life cycle of civilisations from emergence, growth and flowering to breakdown, decline and disintegration.
More to the point, it’s the CIA/MI6 military command that’s losing the war with arms in Ukraine, not the Ukrainian military, unless Zelensky wants to blame the soldiers as they lie in their graves. In any case, Ukraine Military COmmand has always been winning its part in the war, their actual war, the propoganda war in the West, with no opposition that remains unsilenced.
