That is a very feminine and melodramatic way of thinking, analogous to Helen Lovejoy’s —“Won’t Somebody Please Think of the Children”.
While Mr Farage has demonstrated what I consider to be shocking hostility and ignorance towards Russia, China, and Iran, at least it is a faint sign of grace that he opposes sending soldiers to Ukraine. Where they would merely be killed like the million-plus Ukrainians and foreign mercenaries before them.
I’m fairly sure the reason for the calm returning to Iran is to do with the fact that the USA is far more hated than the Iranian government and, anyway, nobody is going to be happy to see their country bombed by foreign troops with their own agenda, which does not include the local people..
