It’s too bad that war, which is what individuals rather than nations create, is always there to disrupt and destroy the lives of innocent and peaceful people. But the Ukraine should be a buffer zone, not part of NATO, and so pays the price for taking sides instead of remaining neutral.
Actually the Ukrainian people didn’t take sides instead of remaining neutral. Americans have the shortest memory in the world. Forgotten already is the 2014 regime change coup against Ukraine by Obomber and Victoria Newland, when ethnic Russians were forced to flee while a totally corrupt far-right fascist natsi regime was installed in Ukraine, turning the nation de facto into a US/EU vassal state. Ethnic Russian Ukrainians who had fled were killed en mass by the natsi Azov batallian of the regime, until Putin was finally forced to respond to their pleas for help.
