Even with Mr Mercouris’ legal knowledge, surely it is far-fetched to claim that Russia is not at war with Ukraine. I have every sympathy with the Russians, and none at all with the Kiev mob. Nevertheless, invading another country with hundreds of thousands of men and thousands of tanks and artillery pieces, and bombarding it with tens of thousands of bombs, drones, and missiles MUST be an act of war, regardless of what is said by anyone. Alexander did not really make that claim. He said “technically”. He could have left that out. He was talking about the assassination attempt on a Russian general who was part of the Abu Dhabi talks. That is terrorism by any conceivable standard.
