I suppose the UK government has difficulty dealing with a nation that has only one main religion. (Although I gather that Iran is fairly tolerant to foreigners of different religions who are respectful and don’t cause trouble).

Alexander Mercouris has made a plethora of predictions in the last decade, but as the saying goes, ‘Even a stopped clock is right twice a day’, and Mr. Mercouris has been claiming that Russia is only 6 months away winning the war in Ukraine, ever since 2022, but surely he will be correct some day, like those that claim “the end of the world is nigh“.
